Don't Be Surprised By What They Don't Do

It is a common mistake to believe that a Coroner, EMS or Law Enforcement Officers will clean up a scene following a death or crime. They actually don’t, and for good reason. Handling these circumstances are much different than cleaning up from them and putting these scenes back in a healthy state. From proper disposal access, to proper disinfecting, these community heroes have their difficult jobs and we have ours.

Just like your plumber doesn’t clean up the damage from a water leak or a firefighter doesn’t clean up following a fire, the police are assigned the difficult task of solving the crime not cleaning it up, which is the way it should be. The coroner needs to document and investigate, just like EMS has to be ready for the next emergency. We are all experts in our own fields.

It takes a team to serve families from start to completion.
